Anchor Hocking has been making glass cookware and serveware in The United States since 1905. Originally started as The Hocking Glass Company in Lancaster, Ohio, it was named for the Hocking River. In 1937 it merged with the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation and was renamed Anchor Hocking. Here we have two cobalt glass cookware pieces in perfect condition - beautiful enough to be used as serveware. The oval platter measures 11" x 8" and the bowl measures 9" in diameter x 2.75" deep.
